Getting started
- Tap Create in the bottom tab bar.
- Choose the geotagged photos from your walk.
- Wander sorts them by capture time and draws a walking route between them.
- Tap a numbered pin to see its photo, or press play to replay your route.
Past walks are saved automatically — tap Logbook in the bottom tab bar to revisit them.
Frequently asked questions
Why didn't a route appear?
Wander needs at least two photos that have both a date and a GPS location. Photos without location data are skipped.
Some of my photos are missing.
Photos without embedded GPS coordinates can't be placed on the map, so they're left out. Most phone cameras add location automatically when location access is enabled for the camera.
Why is the route slightly different from where I actually walked?
Wander snaps your photo locations to the nearest walkable streets and paths using Apple Maps directions, so the line follows real routes between your stops.
My saved walk's photo thumbnails look rotated.
This was a bug in builds 1.1 (3) and earlier. New imports starting from 1.1 (4) save correctly. To fix an existing walk, delete it from the Logbook and re-import the same photos.
Do you collect my photos or location?
No. Everything happens on your device. Wander has no account and sends none of your data to us. See the Privacy Policy for details.
