Public release vs. beta
The App Store version of Wander is the stable release. If you just want to map your journeys, that's the one to use.
The public beta runs through Apple's TestFlight and gets new features earlier, while they're still being polished. Beta builds can have rough edges and the occasional bug. That's the point. Your feedback is what gets them fixed before everyone else sees them.
How to join
- Install TestFlight from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- On that device, open the Join the beta on TestFlight link at the top of this page, then tap Accept.
- Install Wander from TestFlight. New beta builds will update through TestFlight automatically.
Good to know
Installing the beta replaces the App Store version of Wander on that device; your saved walks and Logbook carry over.
Beta software is beta software: things may occasionally break or behave oddly. If you'd rather not run into that, stick with the App Store release.
The beta is private by design, just like the release version: no account, no analytics, no tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.

- Take a screenshot inside the app and TestFlight will offer to send it to us with your notes attached.
- Send feedback from the app's Settings to open a pre-filled message with your device and build details included.
